Mountaineer
Meals

For many kids in West Virginia, summer can be a difficult time when the majority of their meals come from school provided breakfast and lunch. Mountaineer Food bank started Mountaineer Meals, a summer feeding program, to ensure that students are provided with nutritious meals throughout the summer months.
Mountaineer Meals kicks off June 5, 2023! Mountaineer Food Bank will be again sponsoring summer meals sites through the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program! Meal sites will be operating in Braxton, Calhoun, and Clay Counties throughout the summer. If you have a child 18 years or under, come out to one of these sites on the dates and times listed below. This program is a parent pick up program, providing thaw and serve meals and fresh milk kits for multiple days per child.
